My favorite is to chant the maha-mantra. Chanting the maha-mantra is a philosophy. You can be of any religion and still sing. Learn more about it here.
When I’m outside of a temple or yoga studio setting, my happy place is to sing chants with modern melody. The sacred texts of Bhagavad-Gita, historically sung 5,000 years ago on the Battlefield of Kurukshetra, blend mystically with metal rock.
